You simply need to add your Google Map API Key in your “My Account” user settings when you first login to Sparkzio.

Please follow the instructions below if you’re having any difficulties with your Google Maps API key:

You’ll need to login to Google and create an account, if needed, provide your billing information, and set up your Google Maps API key containing the Places API, Maps JavaScript API, and the Geocoding API (all located in the API library).

Please follow along with this Loom Video

Your Google maps key is only applied to your Sparkzio account settings, found in “My Account”, it is not applied to individual sites.

In order to use Google Maps Platform products, billing must be enabled on your account, and all requests must include a valid API key:

#1 Did you provide your payment information? This is required
#2 Did you enable the Maps Places API, Maps JavaScript API, and the Geocoding API (all are located in the API library)? All are required
#3 Did you activate your API? Won’t work without activation

Please be sure that you have enabled billing РThis is required even with the Free Credit.

Please do not add any restrictions to your API key until after you’re sure it is working with your account and only then, add them one-at-a-time making sure sure your restrictions don’t block your access.

If everything has been set-up correctly, you’re installed API Key is ready for the next step. Login to your Sparkzio account:

Once you enter your Google Map API key, be sure to save/update settings…

Once you add and save… You should be good to go!

If you are still having problems, please take your time and go through all the steps again.
